•
A
facility that does not offer personalized one-on-one services.
• Treatments which are all passive in nature, in which the
patient “receives” the treatments from someone or something.
A patient’s treatment should also include active exercise,
postural training, and education for faster and more lasting outcomes.
• Treatments by inexperienced or unqualified staff. Dr. Stevens
has been practicing for over 10 years in orthopedic, sports, and
occupational rehabilitation.
• Therapists who do not explain your condition, answer your
questions or concerns adequately, or involve you in determining
your treatment goals.
• Repetitive, stagnant programs that are not progressing or
leading to steady improvement in symptoms or function. You should
generally learn something new or note some degree of progress every
1 to 2 visits.
